PAUL A. CAMPIONE JR.

After graduation 1966 from Tottenville High School, Mr. Campione joined the United States Army during the Vietnam campaign. He was field promoted to Sergeant half way through his one year tour. Mr. Campione earned the Purple Heart, and the Bronze Star during this time.

Upon arrival home, Paul started working with the Brooklyn Union Gas Co. (currently known as National Grid). Upon being accepted into Plumbers Local #371’s five year Apprenticeship Program, he started working/learning the plumbing trade.

In 1970 Paul married childhood sweetheart, Ingrid Campione, purchased a home and started a family. Three sons were born. During this period, Paul attended and graduated the prestigious Mechanics Institute in Manhattan at night while working full time.

In 1978, Paul and his father, Paul Campione, Sr., started a new business, P.A.C. Heating. When Paul earned his NYC Master Plumbers License, the business’ name was changed to P.A.C. Plumbing & Heating. Paul undertook the purchase of an air conditioning company in 1994 and self taught all aspects of that business. The name was again changed to P.A.C. Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning.

Paul has been/is a member of many professional organizations such as the Association of Contracting Plumbers of the City of New York, the Staten Island Rotary Club, former Member, YMCA of Staten Island Board of Managers, Past Chairman, Staten Island Broadway YMCA. Mr. Campione is also a member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and past member, Board of Governors of Richmond County Yacht Club. He is also a founding member of the nationwide HVAC contractors group, QSC. He is also a member since 1969 of the American Veterans Assn., Trumburri Post #619. He is also a member of the VFW, DAV and Elks Club.

Mr. Campione’s business licenses and certificates include NYC Master Plumbers License, NJ State Master Plumber’s License, State of NY Backflow Prevention Devise Tester Certificate, IBR Schools, Certificate IBR Hydronic Heating, NYC Fire Dept. Certificate of Fitness, Associated Technical Institute EPA#608 as Type I & II.

Mr. Campione has been recognized by the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Award, 2007; Volunteer of the Year 2009, YMCA; Generosity Award, 1999 from the Habitat for Humanity, Recognition of Service Award, Staten Island Rotary, 2004.

Paul is an avid boater having owned his own boat since 2000. He is a current member of the Richmond County Yacht Club and is involved in the current rebuilding of the Club, which was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. His most important role is that of Grandpa to his beloved three granddaughters, whose father was lost in a car accident.

Family is his first priority and improving the family business is his passion.
